Happy Birthday Golden Goose- er Facebook!
I, of all people, would be a complete jerk if I neglected to wish Facebook a happy birthday. Here's a special Happy Birthday Facebook edition of the Morning Don't. (In case you are wondering, Geoff is in bed sick.)

New Book
An unforgettable portrait of the emerging world's entrepreneurial dynamos Brilliant, Crazy, Cocky is the story about that top 1% of people who do more to change their worlds through greed and ambition than politicians, NGOs and nonprofits ever can. This new breed of self-starter is taking local turmoil and turning it into opportunities, making millions, creating thousands of jobs and changing the face of modern entrepreneurship at the same time. To tell this story, Lacy spent forty weeks traveling through Asia, South America and Africa hunting down the most impressive up-and-comers the developed world has never heard of....yet.

Oh, man! That blank look that Olivia has! That has totally been my face! The worst thing is when it is a really good friend of yours. Or a housemate! I've totally had that happen with housemates that I liked. The worst is when they get frustrated with you, and start hinting!
"Um, Lawrence, isn't there something you wanted to say to me today?"
"Uh, today?"
"Yeah, didn't you want to, uh, say something to me?"
"Uh, no. Not really. Could you pass the milk?"
"Sure... but, uh, really, nothing?"
"Oh, um, I think we're almost out of coffee. You should put that on the list of stuff to get."
"Okay."
"If you're food shopping today, can you pick up some Cheerios? I'll pay you back tomorrow."
"Do you remember last summer, when I got you that book you wanted for your birthday?"
"Yeah, so? What are you trying to get at?"
"And we took you out to C&O? We had champagne?"
"Yeah, that was great! What an awesome birthday!"
"Well, I was just thinking..."
"What?"
"Maybe you'd like to wish me well or something."
"Why?"
"Um... It's my birthday."
"Oh! Really? Oh, wow! Hey! That is great! Happy birthday!"
"Thanks."
"Uh, yeah. No, I really mean it. Happy birthday."
"Okay. Thanks."
Awful. I hate forgetting stuff like that. I guess things are easier now, with MySpace and Facebook reminding me of these things.
