It's OK, Spidey! Anyone Can Make a Fashion Mistake
Geoff and I went to a fantastic dinner party at Auren Hoffman's house the other night and in true Auren style he insisted on prying some intelligent conversation out of everyone. We all had to bring an idea, or interesting thing we'd heard or read to share with the table. Geoff hates group participation and was all "what-have-you-gotten-me-into?" He got called on before I did, and he brought up our theory that TV (inc. YouTube) is the cultural glue of society and by depriving your kids of it, you're only hurting them. All his dreading aside, it sparked so much conversation, I never had to present my idea! Score!
On the off chance you haven't seen it, here's one of those prime examples of a time they'd be left out. (This one is dedicated to my brother Peter who I used to watch He-Man with. He also happens to be gay! To my knowledge he does not own a pink vest or go clubbing with Skeletor....)

New Book
An unforgettable portrait of the emerging world's entrepreneurial dynamos Brilliant, Crazy, Cocky is the story about that top 1% of people who do more to change their worlds through greed and ambition than politicians, NGOs and nonprofits ever can. This new breed of self-starter is taking local turmoil and turning it into opportunities, making millions, creating thousands of jobs and changing the face of modern entrepreneurship at the same time. To tell this story, Lacy spent forty weeks traveling through Asia, South America and Africa hunting down the most impressive up-and-comers the developed world has never heard of....yet.

I've never gone clubbing with Skeletor. But, I've always wanted to.
