Israel

Completely Lame

exhaustion from three countries in a week's time and too late of a saturday night conspired to make me feel lousy today. fever, pukey. it wasn't pretty. so my apologies for no brilliant post about the day's events. because my day events, well, you just don't want to read about them- trust me!

big day tomorrow so i'm hoping a day of rest helps!

btw- one cultural observation: no one in this hotel has heard of ginger ale and soda crackers!

Yea we don't have Ginger Ale in Israel and what are soda crackers?

soda crackers are like saltines. white crackers with salt on them. great when you're sick!

Ahh yea we have those we just call them crackers. and everything else crackers. How long are you planning on being in Israel?

oh, there are plenty of places where you can get Schwepp's Ginger Ale. It's certainly not the most popular beverage, but it is available.

And there are a myriad of saltine-esque crackers in the supermarket!

wow. i love my israeli support system! i literally couldn't walk yesterday so i was very dependent on the hotel's pantry, unfortunately. out and about today...we'll see how long i can hold out!

Sarah what are your group's plans for the rest of the week?

Any geek parties I can crash?
